Since opening, the Spinnaker Tower has become an icon and source of inspiration for photographers and artists alike.

Images of the Tower are regularly found on photography sites such as Flickr and in May 2007 the aspex Gallery held an exhibition as part of National Architecture Week called Inspire!, exploring how the Spinnaker Tower has inspired the local arts community to create new pieces through both traditional and more modern digital media.

We will shortly be launching our monthly photography and art competition, with a different theme each month. Our favourite pictures will be uploaded to the site each month. Until that time, here are just a few of our favourite images that have been sent to us since we opened:
