A new and exciting opportunity awaits an experienced hospitality professional to join our team at the Spinnaker Tower and assume the position of High Tea F&B Supervisor.
The iconic Spinnaker Tower stands at a soaring 170 metres tall, offering awe-inspiring 23-mile views over Portsmouth, the Solent, the South Downs and the Isle of Wight.
From delicious High Teas, nerve-jangling abseils to magical weddings, there are outstanding experiences for everyone, all set against the most breath-taking of backdrops.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest. Working in our vibrant, fast-paced Café, you will lead the front-of-house team, ensuring that service is seamless and customer satisfaction remains a top priority. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our brunch and high tea experience. You will ensure that the highest standards of presentation are maintained across the catered experience offering, delivering a polished and elegant guest experience in line with the venue’s brand and expectations.
The Café has a unique high-end identity and therefore the role requires a unique F&B Supervisor with their own brand of personality and flair, to deliver a service to clientele who expect only the best.
About You
It is essential that you have previous experience of working as a F&B Supervisor in a busy high-end establishment that specialises in afternoon teas. You will have the confidence and panache to deliver a service in a way that contributes to the overall atmosphere of The Spinnaker Tower.
Proven experience managing front-of-house teams is essential, as is strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential as you will be focused on building strong relationships with customers stakeholders and employees.
You must also have the flexibility to work 5 over 7 days including weekends.
You will also have:
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations, with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Level 2 in Food Safety (can be organised by Spinnaker Tower).
- Problem solving abilities.
