About your gift voucher

Your voucher is redeemable year-round, subject to availability and weather conditions (high winds, lightning, heavy snow or ice may cause postponement).
A minimum age of 14 years applies. Anyone under 18 must have a guardian present to sign consent.
No previous experience is required, but you must be capable of participating unaided. We do not recommend it for those with vertigo.
Bookings are for the abseil plus full Tower access. We recommend arriving in good time to enjoy the whole experience.

Around 1.5 hours including your briefing, harness fitting, abseil & visit to the tower.

The abseil season runs from April to October and an abseil gift voucher runs for 12 months from issue. We recommend redeeming your voucher well in advance of your visit to ensure there is capacity on that day.

Yes the abseil experience at the Spinnaker Tower can be suitable for groups, but a few considerations need to made:

  • Groups of up to 40 can be accommodated as part of a corporate event, charity or private occasion.
  • Those not wishing to abseil are welcome to view from designated aeras
  • Only those over the age of 14 may abseil
  • Those under the age of 18 need parental consent.
  • Health conditions: A maximum weight of 120kg; not pregnant and capable of undertaking the abseil unaided

 

Yes our abseil experiences at Spinnaker Tower do include general admission (all-day access to the tower) as part of the experience.

Abseils will take place in most weather conditions but could be postponed in the event of high winds, lightning, heavy snow or ice.

Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Long hair must be tied back and jewellery removed.

Yes, abseil gift vouchers are available and valid for one year.
