There’s no higher abseil in Portsmouth – and no greater reward.

A challenge to test your nerve as you descend more than 100m down the iconic Spinnaker Tower. No matter what your fitness level or experience, abseiling is for anyone with the courage to face their fears.

From your starting point in the clouds, you’ll be met with an incredible view of Portsmouth Harbour, the Solent and even the Isle of Wight – at a breathtaking 100m above sea level.

What to expect

When you arrive, you will be taken to the podium level to be kitted out in your safety gear and harness by our team of expert abseilers, before taking your safety briefing.

Our team will then take you in the high-speed lift travelling at 4m per second to the viewing platform. You will then be guided to the external hatch door that leads out of the Spinnaker Tower at 100 metres where your harness will be attached to one of the two safety lines for your Portsmouth abseil adventure.

Take a moment to sit back in your harness, wave to the crowds, and prepare to defy your instincts. Trust the rope, let go, and soak in the incredible views across Portsmouth and beyond - this is a day you’ll never forget.

Please read our terms & conditions before you book.
