Celebrate National Vegetarian Week at Spinnaker Tower
This week (May 15-21) celebrates National Vegetarian Week, an opportunity for everyone to embrace a veggie diet – and to discover it can be a superstar for both our health and the planet.
This year’s theme highlights how plant-based food has a much lower carbon footprint, so by choosing more vegetarian meals, at home and out and about, we’re making real carbon savings.
However, eating out can be a challenge for vegetarians as tasty dishes are often hard to come by. Our talented culinary team have created a delicious selection of vegetarian and vegan options for our two eateries.
The Spinnaker Bar and Kitchen menu features a mouth-watering vegetarian Full English (available all day), vegetarian sausage roll, grilled halloumi sandwich, freshly baked jacket potatoes and made-to-order omelettes.
Open daily from 10am until 6pm, the café is the perfect place to refuel after a trip up the Tower or relax with a drink overlooking the water’s edge.
Alternatively, try the highest afternoon tea around at our Clouds Café, where between 12pm and 4pm you can enjoy a vegan High Tea and stunning views of the Portsmouth harbour.
Our vegan High Tea includes a selection of sandwiches with Quorn ham, vegan smoked applewood cheese and vegan cream cheese with cucumber, of course with vegan butter. We also have a vegan scone with jam and a delicious selection of vegan sweet treats including red velvet, fruity flapjack, mocha loaf and a Honeybuns brownie.
Our vegan Brunch High Tea includes a mini vegan bacon roll, mini vegan sausage roll, blueberry croissant, fruity flapjack, berry fruit pot and mini smoothie. Brunch High Tea runs from Friday until Sunday at 10am. Make your experience even more special and add a bottle of Champagne or Prosecco.
